As we age, our facial volume changes. Fat can shift, collagen decreases, and areas that once looked smooth or full may start to appear flatter or more hollow. Dermal fillers are injections that can replace some of this lost volume, soften deeper folds, or add shape to certain facial features.
They're not only used for the aging face. Some patients are more interested in enhancing facial features they have always wanted to refine, such as adding definition to the chin, giving the lips a little more shape, or creating stronger cheek contours.

A filler that feels right in the lips may not provide enough structure for the chin. A product selected for cheek contour may not be appropriate beneath the eyes. Good results come from matching product, placement, and amount to your anatomy.

There are situations where we may recommend a different treatment. Significant sagging skin usually will not improve just by adding more filler. Active infection near the treatment area, certain allergies or medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, medications, and previous filler can also affect candidacy.
